Daryl Johnstone will rack up his 10th Corporate Pursuit when Cycling Southland's annual business house track competition gets underway in June.
A small contingent of southland riders took on the 2015 edition of the Te Awamutu Junior Tour. Under 17 riders Corbin Strong, Sam Miller and Hamish Keast along with under 19 riders Hayden Strong and Tom Sexton.
Canterbury's Richard Lawson made a big play on the final day of the Tour de Lakes cycle race but Luke Macpherson held on to take the crown.
ith a UCI Track World Cup to be staged here in December, it has been announced by Cycling New Zealand.
Luke Macpherson will be the rider to beat when the Tour de Lakes gets underway on Friday.
There's no danger of complacency for world champion para-cyclists Emma Foy and Laura Fairweather.

Sixty young cycling enthusiasts descended on Teretonga on Tuesday for the annual Otago-Southland Secondary School Road Championships with a strong team from James Hargest College ready to the battle to retain the overall points trophy from 2014.
Eight medals, including six titles and three national records made for a successful New Zealand age group track championships for the Andrews family.
